Your Feedback is Required: Out of The Darkness and Into the Light
Each of us in our lives go through different stages.. Many times these stages move us from one level to another. These stages might be spirital stages of enlightenment. They may also be stages of enlightenment that are professional and or educational in nature.
What I mean and am looking for as it relates to your particular involvement is, what was your “ah ha” moment? What was the defining moment in your business life, that moment when you knew you had what it takes to succeed. That stage that you knew you would make it.
In your spiritual life, what was the moment when it clicked and you knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that God exists, and not only that he exists but that He is who He says He is. And, that He can do what He says He can do…

Rick Warren’s Parallels between Baseball and Life
In his Easter message tonight Rick Warren gave these parallels between Life and Baseball.
In both life and baseball you are judged by your stats. You can’t hide your failures. In baseball every time you come up to bat they list your average. You either hit the ball or you don’t. Just like in life we either succeed or we don’t.
In both life and baseball everybody falls short of perfection.
In both life and baseball we all have a lot of errors. We all drop the ball from time to time..
In both life and baseball there is always the possibility of a Miracle. In baseball there is no time limit. Even with two outs in the bottom of the ninth while down by 10 runs you still have a chance…Bob Brenly playing for the Giants in 1986 had 4 errors in one inning. He later hit two home runs in that same game…There is always the possibility of a Miracle.
Rick Warren’s Easter Message – It’s Never Too Late
Sometimes we find ourselves in the right place at the right time. Tonight was one of those times. Me and the family went to the Saturday night Easter Service for Saddleback Church at Angel’s Stadium in Anaheim, CA.
As usual Pastor Rick Warren’s message was practical and powerful. Rick is always practical in his messages and tonight was no different. The title of the message is/was It’s Never Too Late!
“Because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead your Faith and Hope can be placed confidently in God.” 1 Peter 1:21
The three main points are as follows:
1) It’s Never Too Late for a Miracle
2) It’s Never Too Late to Start Believing
3) It’s Never Too Late for Forgiveness
Each of these three points parallels what three different people in the life of Jesus were feeling before and after His death on the cross.
First is Mary Magdalene, the first to the empty tomb.
Second is Thomas, who would not believe that Jesus had risen from the grave until he saw for himself.
And last is Peter who after denying Jesus and in his hopeless condition needed more than anyone to be forgiven.
Palm Sunday
The Lord Jesus reigns! Rode into Jerusalem on a donkey prior to his crucifixion. If only the people who were there understood the significance of his arrival.
He came to die! To be murdered actually! What an amazing savior, whose purpose here on earth was to do the will of the Father and die in our place.
Check out this view in the Passion of the Christ”…
2 Corinthians 5:21
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God through Him.
Scripture thought for the Evening
With Resurrection Sunday rapidly approaching we will delve into the matter of Salvation. Salvation as in deliverance…Jesus paid the ultimate price – His Life, that we might Live. He died that we may Live. We have not done anything to earn or merit Salvation but Jesus loved us enough to die for us. He was always concerned with DOING the will of the Father.
John 3:16 tells us the “God, so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” God did this on His own volition. There is nothing that we did to begin the work of Salvation.
2 Corinthians 5:21 also says that, “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God through Him.
What a wonder set of bookend scriptures. Sandwich all that you are and all that you do between these bookends and know that Jesus Paid it all!
Til later,
