Just another WordPress.com weblogIs Topsy Turvy in the House?
We are still less than 30 games into the 2010 baseball season, but things ain’t what they used to be. Some familiar logos sit below .500, while a lesser known small market team the Tampa Bay Rays has the best record.
Whats a fan to do? As we always say up until September, “its a loooong season there is plenty of baseball still to be played.” Those words are what many are holding their hopes on. Teams like the Boston Red Sox, LA Angeles of Anaheim, Los Angeles Dodgers are just a shell of their recent selves.
These MAJOR market teams are playing like baseball just arrived in town and someone forgot to tell them they were playing. Then again, one thing is for sure unless you are the New York Yankees and the payroll is meaningless to you, every team struggles from time to time.
Still, seeing the ineptitude that some of these teams seem to be living with is quite alarming…
Consider this, Barry Zito is 5-0. Need I say anymore about this crazy season?

Ecommerce and Internet Shopping
The online shopping industry is growing by leaps and bounds. According to AC Nielsen statistics, 875 million people worldwide have shopped online. The number of online shoppers in the US alone has reached 139 million.
Even in tough economic times the one thing that everyone still needs to do is purchase goods and services. Families still must have the basic essentials like soap, toothpaste and toilet paper. Many of these families are turning to the internet to make their daily purchases. These items can usually be purchased through the same retailers for lower prices online than in the stores themselves.
The advantage for retailers doing business online is that they have lower overhead costs as compared to their brick and mortar stores. Having lower overhead allows retailers to offer lower prices for the same item sold online.
Consumers are beginning to catch on to the value of purchasing items online. The growth projections by AC Nielsen attest as much. Some of the items being purchased online now include books, clothing and apparel, videos, games, airline tickets and electronic equipment.
Online shopping and what is known as ecommerce had in times past a stigma attached that it was unsafe. The ecommerce business model was hit hard in the early days by hackers. Hackers would take advantage of lax security and acquire consumer’s personal and financial information.
Today most retailers have stepped up their use of sophisticated security software to ensure the safety of the consumer’s personal and financial information. The safety of the transaction has attracted those who were once afraid to use the internet to make purchases. Purchases made online today with major retailers are just as safe as the same transaction made in the store.
There are several advantages to the consumer when they choose to shop online.
• They shop from the comfort of home
• They save time
• They save gas
• The ability to do comparative shopping amongst retailers
If you have yet to do so, take time out to explore internet shopping. The savings and overall experience just may make a believer out of you.
Stumbling, Rumbling, Bumbling!
In the early days of Network Marketing many of us are faced with the facts that we have no idea what we are doing. The excitement that we had when we were presented with our opportunity, soon turns to utter disappointment when over and over again our friends and family do all but turn their backs on us.
If this opening couple of thoughts brings back haunting memories, you are not alone. Do not be discouraged! Know this, Network Marketing is a viable business model. The problem is, the old methods are outdated and obsolete. There is money to be made and many, many people are making quite a living marketing all manner of things from vitamins to cell phones to utility services. You can even have your very own virtual ecommerce mall.
Well, if you are anything like I was you’re asking why are you not having the same level of success? Perhaps you are going about this thing all wrong. Consider for a second what it took for you to get involved. Did you join because of the product or was it the potential to make tons of money. Even if the potential was there, you had to believe that someone could help you get there.
Mike Dillard says, “network marketing is full of people who have no idea how to market.” Does that describe you? If you are in Network Marketing and you don’t know how to market, how can you succeed?
You will be just like the title describes, stumbling, rumbling, bumbling yourself right to the broke house!

Now That Just Sucks
22 games into the 2010 season and the Dodgers are 6 games under 500 at 8-14.
Just returning back home after a 2-7 roadtrip, they are struggling in ways that make it hard to believe they actually made it to the NLCS the last two years.
I guess we have to hang on because it is a long season.
Stay tuned!
Never, Never, Never, Never Give Up
I’m sure we have all heard it before, that persistence is the key to becoming successful in one’s pursuit of a goal. No matter what the goal is our drive to succeed must carry us on.
By nature we are wired to pursue two things:
1) Acquiring pleasure
2) Avoiding pain
Pain avoidance is the number one reason people give up on certain pursuits. It might be the avoidance of pain as it relates to giving up smoking. Perhaps we might want to avoid pain in the pursuit of growing our home based business. In Network Marketing we are often faced with negative responses from the people to whom we present our business opportunity.
It is natural to not want to associate with negative responses. It is during these times when we need to dig down deep and find an inner reserve that will allow us to keep going.
We must have the determination to never, never, never, never give up. We must do all we can to continue on…Working within a proven system can help us in our quest for success.
Do not allow negative thoughts to persist. Find like-minded people to associate with and work with mentors who have gone before and blazed the path to success.
The Top Three Keys to Making Money Online
The internet marketing revolution has taken the World Wide Web by storm. Like searching for Bigfoot, hordes of people are searching for the magic potion for making money online.
Many of these people are in search of a fast buck. Get rich schemes and ideas are around every corner. I will let you in on a little known secret…but you have to keep it quiet. There is no magic potion for making money online.
The people who are successful are employing age old strategies that have proven effective over time. The number one strategy is plain and simple: Hard Work.
Along with hard work and dedication these 3 tips will help immensely.
First, finding your niche can be fun and very rewarding. Make a list of things that interest you. Examine through keyword research with Google, how popular and or necessary each idea is on the internet. No sense trying to sell canned honey baked biscuits if there are no people searching for canned honey baked biscuits online.
Second is to Brand yourself – Establish your online identity. Unlike Superman and Batman you want people to know who you are. You want people to identify with you the leader who can help them to solve their problem and or find what they are looking for. Provide value to those searching for answers and or information. Once you establish yourself as a go to resource you will have gained the trust and will have built a relationship with your potential client. That is when you will see your sales climb.
Third and finally for this article, Grow your list – The key to making money online is to have a list of people that you can market products and or services to. It is not uncommon for the Super star Internet Marketers to have email lists of hundreds of thousands of names. These are not just names for the sake of having names. These lists are people who have shown willingness to purchase items in the past, and could potentially buy products and services again.
Your Feedback is Required: Out of The Darkness and Into the Light
Each of us in our lives go through different stages.. Many times these stages move us from one level to another. These stages might be spirital stages of enlightenment. They may also be stages of enlightenment that are professional and or educational in nature.
What I mean and am looking for as it relates to your particular involvement is, what was your “ah ha” moment? What was the defining moment in your business life, that moment when you knew you had what it takes to succeed. That stage that you knew you would make it.
In your spiritual life, what was the moment when it clicked and you knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that God exists, and not only that he exists but that He is who He says He is. And, that He can do what He says He can do…

The Many Phases and Facets of Attraction Marketing
Network Marketing guru Mike Dillard says, “the network marketing industry is full of people who do not know how to market”. That statement holds so true and hits home like no other.
In my experience in Network Marketing I have had the misfortune to have been involved in more than one business opportunity that failed miserably. The path to success has not been an easy one. Many phases of the old system have not proven themselves to be good to me.
Let it be said, that building a succesful home based business does not happen over-night. There is no magic potion or magic bullet. There have been some long nights and some sacrifices along the way.
Since getting connected with the Magnetic Sponsoring system I have seen my quality leads have skyrocketed…Magnetic Sponsoring works on the basis of Attraction Marketing. Attraction Marketing in its most basic form turns the hunter into the hunted.
No longer do I pitch my business to friends, family and eveyone that passes by. I am now sought after for my knowledge of building a successful network marketing business.
The basic tenets of Attraction Marketing can be summed up in these marketing efforts…
1) Article Marketing
2) Forum Marketing
3) Video Marketing
4) Social Networking
5) PPC advertising
